Now I have turned 42,
I seriously have lost a shoe
It’s been on my foot all summer through
It was brand new but now it’s a mystery
Or maybe become a part of history
I’ve searched high and low
But just do not know
What has happened to my shoe???
PS...the pic is a brilliant card I got from my friend. Made me laugh out loud 😂😂😂...she wrote inside that maybe I’d have to blow out the candles with a hair dryer this year😂😂😂

I found my long lost specs
On my head where they'd been put.
I wondered if you'd looked if your shoe
Was still left it on your foot?
If only that were true
I could save pennies buying a new
Shoe to slip upon my foot
But the problem is there
One doesn’t have a shoe to wear
And I don’t want to scare
The other shoppers off
Looking a bit random
As my feet won’t be in tandem
As one will be in sandal
And the other one will be...

Well, I truly have lost a shoe and it’s so annoying because they’re the shoes I wear all the time!!! Hmm, just have to wear my winter shoes with socks. Doesn’t feel quite cold enough for that yet but I may have no choice! 🤣🤣🤣 Although I also got some cool socks that say ‘Nap Queen’ on them...describes me perfectly!

What a great card. I hope you find your shoe. I’ve seen ‘pairs’ of socks that are actually three socks. Maybe for people who always lose a sock. Perhaps someone should make pairs of shoes in threes too 👟 👞 👠

Tip.. if staying at a hotel and are prone like a lot of us to leaving stuff in the safe( passport, wallet, cash etc), put one shoe in at night which will ensure you definitely open it in the morning.

Pretend you don't care about the shoe and look for something else. The shoe will get huffy and turn up! Works for me. (Sometimes!) 🤣
