Ct scan, pet scan, biopsy. Please help.

My mum's ct scan came back said serious concerns on right lung. They didn't say cancer. She has a pet scan and biopsy, I'm really worried can I please have some positive storys. Her oxygen levels are normal, high white blood cells, they said she had a major infection but didn't know where. Her heart is fine, she does have clubbed fingers. Please some positive story's thank you

Best to wait for the CT scan results.

If its serious your Mum will be called back quickly.

If she's had a major infection its bound to show on the lung. I had a shadow on my lung for over 7 months with a bad infection, it didn't clear with anti biotics but it did clear with a prolonged course of steroids.

It really depends on CT scan results the course of action as far as the medical treatment goes. Easier said than done but try not to worry and keep fingers crossed its not what you fear.

I am the same that say that they can find any reason for it they say that I have pulmonary fibrosis caused by a wired immune response
