Hi hope everyone is keeping well. Big day today I am going to spend couple of hours seeing my nana in her garden first real meeting in several months. Just wish it was a bit warmer but can always put coat on just hope the rain doesn't come. Just a question when I turn 18 will we have to pay for prescriptions or are we exempt like diabetics?

Seeing nana at last.
If you are claiming benefits you will get free prescription but if you are working then you will have to pay. Have a lovely day with your nana and stay safe 😊 Bernadette xx xx 🌈
Have a lovely time with your nana- hope it isn't too cold if you're outside. x
Enjoy your time with your Nana hope it stays dry for you both.
Yes, once you turn 18 you with have to pay for prescriptions unless you are getting some benefits. Tho I think if you are still in full time education you are exempt but you will have to check that.
If you do have to pay getting a prepayment certificate is well worth it, if you have more than one prescription per month works out a lot cheaper.
Love and hugs

Hope you have a lovely day with your Nana I'm sure she will be just as thrilled as you are.😊Xxxx
Hope you had a lovely day with your Nana, and weather was on best behaviour. Xx
Yes, do get the pre-paid prescription thingy. Can save you loads and loads.
Have a wonderful visit with your nana, I bet she'll be thrilled too 🤗
Brilliant news Pokermon that you and your Nana will be seeing one another. It has been a long time and so hard. I saw my young granddaughter in the garden a couple of weeks ago and then again last Sunday. Amazing.
Here is a link for you sweetheart re the prescription charges. There is a link half way down where you can check who is entitled to free prescriptions. Hope you find it helpful.
With love
