Photo at last,bruises.

This is just to show how badly I bruise.This just from them taking blood,three weeks later it,s almost faded,not sore but uncomfortable.I,d rather a nurse than a male phlebotomist any day lol,these go up to my elbow.D.

Yes, I get these😢 not pretty are they. No where near as bad now I am not on oral steroids but the slightest nudge causes bruises. My latest is from carrying a jacket across my arm! X

Seriously....Glad you are on the mend, l can tell that by the way you are wanting the pretty nurses to take your blood instead of the phlebotomist.😂😂

What causes it, ?...is it when your are on Steroids, as the least little knock brings me out in huge bruises.

I am off on holiday next week, so will be in my shorts and swimmers all day, l have bruises all over me from playing with the Twins...l look like a Battered Grandma !! 😂😂

So pleased you are gaining some weight, and on the mend, do you know yet whether they are going to proceed as planned with you Lung Op....Fingers still crossed for you.

Hi Velvet,not sure about the op yet,not been called in for the pre-op checks.I think it is the steroids that make the bruises worse.Have a great holiday yah hear! 💐🌺💐

I have been on Warfarin since 1992 and some days I am like that and had worse.  My biggest problem is now my skin is getting tougher though the scaring.  I had one needle bend because it would not go in?

Glad the weight is getting back on I am the opposite

Not a pretty site Farmer, looks just like mine with the steroids! An injection (which I've got to have tomorrow) will make a talking point, maybe even sympathy! Always a plus, I might milk that one! Take it your feeling better Farmer? Xx

Glad your on the mend Farmer the bruises aren't nice. I get the same only on my upper body I don't have to knock myself they just appear, they are not painful but they do look a mess take care Farmer.

I'm like that the slightest touch and I bruise most don't hurt in fact sometimes I'm not even aware I've bumped myself. My doctor says it's the steroids including the steroid inhaler. I'm like you very skinny. Take care x

Oh, ouch FarmerD what a blinking mess they've made of your arm / hand. I thought I bruised easily what with being on steroids for so long,but your bruise does look bad. Hope you are taking care of yourself and glad to see you are back on the site again!

where did you you get that picture of my hand????  Just joking because I have a hand that looks just like that right now. My bruises then form white scars.looks like a road map up and down my arms.  It has now started on my legs.  And no, thank God, there is no pain except when there is a tri-corner tear involved.  (don't come near me with that tape that is really sticky).p

My dr takes blood and gives me flu jab if the nurse at the surgery does it I bruise but if heaven forbid I get in done in the hospital my arm would look just like your hand.
