Does anyone get a strong astringent smell before a flare up?

It comes as a warning and stays around during my flare up. Just wondering if this was common?

I havent s had a flare up for a long time. I'll keep this in mind and post if I find this too.

I get something similar when I have a cold with strong sinus phlegm.

I get more of a smell that something is burning. Then have to check in kitchen to make sure nothing is!

I get nasty taste in my mouth & sore tongue like oral thrush

I too get a smell of burning or an actor smell, but this occurs any time my sats are low, less than 78%, I have learnt to live with it but it isn't pleasent
