I had terrible problems with post nasal drip. It cleared completely when I was put on Montelukast. Within an hour of taking it I could feel the air coming in through my nose. I was able to blow my nose for the first time in 18 months.

I have had constant post nasal drip for years and it is currently worse than ever! I already take Montelukast, Beconase nasal spray twice a day and a daily antihistimine. There is only one antihistimine I can take that won't interfere with other meds. At the moment my asthma is playing up. I think this is due to high ozone levels that I keep getting AirAlert texts for, and I'm also suffering hayfever. Basically I have turned into a snot box!! If I'm not blowing it out of my nose, I'm coughing it up.

If anyone comes up with hints or tips for drying it up, I, like you, homegirl59, will be very grateful. xx Moy

I have mile post nasal drip and help keep my sinuses clearer using saline solution twice a day when it's more troublesome. Whenever I clean my teeth, I also direct some water up into the cavity between the back of the mouth and the sinuses to flush out all the food particles that migrate up there. Since I've been doing that, I've had far fewer colds and throat infections.

Hi🙋‍♀️, I'm prescribed a nasal spray called Avamys 27.5mg per spray and its a nasal suspension spray with fluticasone furoate. 2 sprays in each nostril reducing to one spray when nasal drip is more controlled. So far so good but I'm only on day 6, so watch this space!! 🐿🌈
