Second visit to my new pulmonologist to review CT scan (which showed Centribolular emphysema but not a vast difference from the last one) 8 years ago. The shock for me was the result of the ultra sound on my heart which was PASP 45mm hg diastolic dysfunction. Made the mistake of using Dr Google. My question is does anybody else have this problem and how you are being treated. I need some reassurance. Thanks

Where do you live? You need to be seen by a specialist in pulmonary vascular disease. Sorry, I should not leap in. It really is not my job to diagnose. Pulmonary hypertension crosses over the disciplines of pulmonary and cardiology. In the U.K. there are six tertiary centres for PH with a mixture of consultants in these two areas. To be seen at one you need a referral from a consultant not a GP. Mild PH is fairly common in COPD patients.
Let us know how things develop.
