I’ve seen about 10 different medical professionals, each and everyone has said that they’ve never heard this noise before...

Hi Kay_T

I experienced a strange sound Last summer for a couple of weeks - how do I describe it-combination of a creaky door opening and a rasping sound (not my usual wheeze). This was post bronchoscopy. Not had it since. No one was able to tell me answer to why or what questions. Stay safe

Could it be due to mucus moving and interfering with an airtube in your lung? You could try an old fashioned steam inhalation using a bowl of hot water and a towel over your head.
