Pleurisy?

Thank you for letting me join. Over the last couple days felt very rough Dreadful palpitations chest pain pain in tip of shoulder pain under left breast. Obviously cannot see dr face to face so over the phone they diagnosed anxiety. But I still feel awful 2 days on and I feel that I may actually have pleurisy Can anyone advise? Thank you

Phone your GP again as it may not be anxiety. Persist in explaining how poorly you feel. I wish you well. Xxxx

Hi pleurisy hits you like a bus in the shoulder area,and lungs feel very painful. Also muscle feeling painful around the ribs can be excruciating, don't leave it for too long. Best wishes for your diagnosis

What a cheek, pain is pain. Call them back and speak to another gp. Do you have a thermometer to take your temperature?

Gosh thanku all for replying and your kind comments. I have been told I have a chest infection! And have now started antibiotics. Thanks again take care all
