I am not coping at all well. I think some of you may understand. The thought of being shut in for another 11 weeks is just awful. I feel I have no control. My poor children are having to shield with me. My husband has to go to work but we're both so frightened he will bring something home. I'm working from home and my work have zero understanding or empathy for my situation. But the thing that has pushed me over the edge is the fact I cant go shopping and I cant order any food online. It's a scary thought thinking how can I feed my children. Sorry for the moan. I just needed to get that off of my chest!

How is everyone coping?
That’s totally understandable Treed. It’s so difficult for many.
Can your husband grab some shopping for you on his way home? Is there any community help where you are? Go online to find out if possible or contact your council.
I hope you’ll be ok and things improve soon. Xxxx
I think you should be able to get help, but something of a postcode lottery I think. Are you on the list of very vulnerable people? In theory that should open a few doors or give you contacts.
All the best

I am in many ways very lucky. There are good support networks around me and I have managed to get slots. I have insomnia and Morrison's release slots in the early hours of the morning so my restlessness as actually got an advantage. How you contacted your local council? They will have a list of help around your area. If you are on Facebook join your local group as there a number of local volunteers who could help you.
Thank you. I dont think my council are on the ball with offering any help unfortunately. I have a couple of people I can ask to get a pint of milk or loaf of bread but not enough to keep two children fed. I'll try the late night shopping idea,I'm starting to loose sleep so it would be a good use of my time!
Its difficult for everyone isn't it and things always feel worse when you aren't well in yourself and there's nothing you can do about it!
I heard that tescos release their delivery slots at around midnight as well.
Some of the local shops around might deliver as there's no harm in asking them if they can help or ask about volunteer groups who can shop for you.
It always helps doesn't it to get things out in the open!
Yes it’s worrying when your in lockdown and your other half is working/ going outside the home. We will have to sit it out and just be as safe as possible.
It’s fine to moan,we are here to listen.
If you are on the 12 week list, you may be in a stronger position to get stuff delivered. A lot of this stuff seems to be voluntary.some one sent me an email this morning about help locally.
I tried this get an online delivery,no slots available. Could your husband pick up a click and collect if you can get a slot.my husband goes shopping in gloves, hat, scarf.
When he comes home they stay on the back door step.
I’m so sorry I can’t be of any more help.
Im stuck in for 12 weeks,I actually haven’t been out for 2 weeks. As I’m immunosupressed.
Stay safe,I hope your children are coping ok.
