The wild kashmir goats live in the Great Orme outside Llandudno. Who knew? (unless you live in Wales of course). Apparently they often come down to the town in the winter but because everyone is indoors this year, they've taken full advantage with no-one to see them off.
What a sight to behold. Very strange to see that and what a pain they are. Xxx
Some jokes there older than my beard, but still funny.
We've always had Chinese deer, foxes, squirrels and rats visiting the three adjoining back courts, where I live in Glasgow for as long as I've been here...almost three decades.
They have become a little bolder and less timid of late.
It's like a mini wildlife park at times.
My only objection has been these delightful, yet powerful leaping deer chomping on my plants and the foxes and rats upearthing plants, searching for insects or the squirrels digging up bulbs, have a munch or even just a sniff, then discarding them as obviously unsuitable to their diet.
I expect to lose about a third, ever year, but, in all honesty, I own a set of night binoculars and am happy to sit quietly observing them for hours.
I vote for the Goats! ❎👍😂
A while ago a friend who was visiting that part of the world sent me a photo of them standing on the central reservation of a dual carriageway.
They are beautiful creatures with long coats and very long horns and very little road sense.
X
Have a look at this article too which is on a link from O2's
About 30 years ago my mother would leave food out for a 3 legged fox. Most nights the fox would come and sit on the front garden and wait for the scraps to come out. She disappeared for about 10 days but then returned with two cubs much to the delight of my mother. Her grandchildren then would stay overnight to watch the cubs play in front of the window.
My best friend lives in Llandudno and she said this often happens, magnificent creatures although they can be a nuisance x
Love it! I have seen it a few times elsewhere ( hadn't seen the witty Goatbusters comment though - wonderful).
