Only if your copd is severe
Thank you x
I just checked back & if you scroll down on this link you’ll see how “severe” is defined blf.org.uk/support-for-you/...
Just checked that thank you x
oh mine are bith severe trust me i know hospital every five minslol
Thank-you for that link I do not know how I missed it. I do fall into the high risk category in relation to copd.
I hadn't seen the link either, well I tried opening it the other day but it didn't work, anyway I see it now and I seem to come into that category on two counts which I'm surprised about. I didn't get a text though, so maybe we have to meet several criteria 🤔
Are there several lists and several categories? I'm confused now. I guess until I get back I don't need to worry too much, I'm isolated here anyway 🏔️
Still waiting for mine assume will take a few days to contact us all
Should do as you are at high risk to spite being well.
Hello Llegkt1. They have said this morning at 9 o clock on the news that text messages to those who are most at risk and should isolate have just started being sent out. So should hear soon. I know i will get 1. But not had it yet. Keep well Brian
Morning I received my text message yesterday xx
Me neither website now updated saying by Sunday 29th March before receiving a text or letter x
Correct me if I'm wrong but I understood everyone who is classed as extremely vulnerable will be notified by the 29th...? I had my text yesterday... Stay safe everyone
dunno Mikey it keeps changing like the ever changing tide of time.
First it was Mon 23rd March then it was tuesday then today came and now .........by the 29th March lol maybe theyr`e procrastinating to save energy but I am also stuck for food delivery no slots available I need help now not by end of week ?????
Have you registered as a extremely vulnerable person on gov.uk website it's for people like yourself who are stuck... And can't go out for supplies... Here is the link my friend....
gov.uk/government/publicati...
Just copy and paste it... Hopefully they can help you... And also try reaching out in your local area... A lot of areas have set up Facebook groups to help people like us... Stay safe and keep in touch let me know how you get on please... 😊
I am 60 and have mild COPD and received a text yesterday. I work full-time (not at the moment as not a key-worker) and the text states I need to be off for 12 weeks. I also have a rescue pack from the surgery which I asked for.
I got my text yesterday afternoon, so today is my first day off work. I thought I was moderate but then again I've been getting recurrent chest infections one being pseudomonas.. Plus immunosuppressed for Lupus. I live alone and trying to stay positive while arranging meds etc. Stay safe x
Llegkt1
Hi, Unless the COPD is at a high level or you have other illness you shouldn't get the letter, only those that are considered high risk which you don't seem to be.
Keep well & safe.
