It might be a good idea to contact your GP tomorrow. It is possible you do need a course of antibiotics. Green phlegm is a sign of a bacterial infection.
Yes I'm going to call first thing, my back lower part of ribs also concerned as to why my spine hurts when turning head left/right. My concerns are that this could be lung cancer as I have had alot of antibiotics past few months, doc said sounded pleurisy around christmas and airways sounded very narrow that was around time I felt I had infection like now all the phlegm I'm bringing up, I'm concerned about thos burning pain is this nerve pain would anyone know, I dont really know what's going on my spirometry was around 85 % they were ok with I dont know what to expect at my first appointment as it is with a general respiritory consultant as far as I'm concerned he will see my past 2 chest x Ray's were ok as they were stated and that I keep getting this chest feeling, phlegm in throat, burning around ribs, muscular area. I dont think this is fibromyalgia it seems to have all symptoms regarding chest lungs. Thankyou for your reply, G
Try not to worry yourself. The lump could be something as simple as an infected gland. I have no experience with lung cancer, but chances are it isn’t. Stay positive and ring your GP as soon as you can in the morning. The sooner you talk to him/her the sooner you’ll be able to put your mind at rest.
Just as a side note, when I have had bad chest infections in the past, I have had pain around my shoulder blades and ribs.
Just reread your original post. The burning in your stomach, could that be acid? Have you got any indigestion meds you could take to see if that takes it away?
