Should I go to the dentist?

My husband (severe bronchiectasis) and I (well controlled asthma) are self isolating. Now I have a dodgy filling which I feel is going to develop into something more. Should I try to get the filling replaced ASAP and risk going to dentists, or take a chance that it will settle down and not get worse in the next few months?

After watching Have I got news for you when Bob Mortimer talked about doing his own dentistry, I have even looked at Fuji 9 on Amazon! Doesn’t seem too easy though.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

If you need to see the dentist do it now. Things aren’t getting any better so best sort stuff now.

I’m due to have a checkup next month and will ring dentist tomorrow for a chat. Xcxx

Thank you for confirming my gut feeling. I'll be on the phone at 8am.

I went to the dentist last week and he wore a mask, which he doesn’t usually. ( As did his dental nurse.) Taking precautions to protect themselves I assume.

As Sassy says, better go now than wait until the disease has really taken off.

I agree - your dentist will wear a mask for sure.

I agree with some posts - go now - before dentist closes or you cannot go due to a mass shutdown

Your decision sweetheart but I decided to go for my routine check up last week before things get worse.
