If you ever get caught up in them dont run jump or panic they will run round you always ...you do the opposite that's when you spook them and then they will go in every direction ☺️☺️

Wouldn't I just love to be there. I can almost feel their sense of elation In view of all the doom and gloom these photos make you appreciate the freedom these horses have and how ours is being restrained for the time being. I so enjoy your lovely photos Blackbird.

I love how they have their full freedom to to roam around ...yes the times are very uncertain at the moment but I dont dwell on it ...if it happens it happens..I dont want to sound i dont care ...but they only ever mention the negatives in these situations that's what causes the worry and panic πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Dear Bernadette,

This is beautiful... Do you live near The New Forest? I was with a Group, a few years ago, and we had Ponies, Horses and even a Cow alongside us. A truly Lovely area- founded by Henry The Eighth- for Hunting... No really! (I know that these creatures have to be 'Culled' to Kerb Numbers..... but that IS Carried Out 'Humanly' and in a Controlled way.)

I am, Corona Virus dependant, going back to Netley- near Southampton- in September. It is, very likely (but not guaranteed) that I will visit or, at least, be Driven through it whilst Staying there.

Can I ask you how you got your Name 'Blackbird6' please Bernadette? Do you Like, or Have, Blackbirds.... Don't they Sing Beautifully? In our Bungalow, a few years ago now, we had a 'Knurled Old Apple Tree' did the birds- especially Blackbirds- love it... That and our Water Feature..... Happy Days, haven't got it anymoreπŸ˜ͺ.

Can't leave you feeling Sad.... Why don't Owls 'make love', in the rain? Because it's.... Wait for this... Too Wet, To Woo! There are two male centipedes, walking along, when a female centipede comes the other way, One Male, nudges the other, "There goes a Nice pair of legs, pair of legs, pair of legs....."

Football match between The Animals, and The Insects, by Half Time, The Animals are winning Five Nil. Then, in the second half The Centipede comes on...and he's a Brilliant player. By the end The Insects have WON Twelve Goals to Eight. After the Match the Captain, of The Animals, asks the Captain of The Insects "Why didn't you bring The Centipede on earlier?" "Oh I Would have done" replies The Insects Captain "only he was still Doing Up his BOOTS!"

I'll end now, on a Happier Note, Take care

Can we have a daily laugh please

AndrewT profile image
AndrewTβ€’ in reply toJaybird19

Dear Jaybird19,

I don't see why NOT.... I'd tell you, the Joke about the Butter..... But you would only SPREAD it! A little boy comes into his Father "Dad, dad The Invisible Man, is at the door". to which, his Dad replies..... wait for this..... "Tell him that I can't SEE him!".

Do you remember Dads Army? Frazer, played by the wonderful John Laurie (I think it was John?), and the story of the 'Old Empty Barn'? He Strung this along the whole Episode before revealing that there was 'Nothing In It'. Truly Brilliant, all Done with that Scottish Accent- and the Staring Eyes, so reminisant of Marty Feldman.

Well there are a few, to Start us off, Jaybird19.... I think your turn now.

Oh, to be in England

Now that April's there,

And whoever wakes in England

Sees, some morning unaware, . . .

I'm really, really homesick. Oh my DNA!
