A very grateful thank you

I recently posted here about something I've been wrestling with. Being bedridden for a week and barely able to do more than the most minimal care of my animals ( never mind the house ) has really brought home the changes I have to accept making in my life going forward.

I have always hoped to age - in - place, here in a home and garden I dearly love. I see now how clearly I've been deluding myself and I must make some very hard changes in the coming months.

Those of you kind enough to respond with your comments and suggestions have helped me to clarify my thoughts and to take those steps.

So again, thank you, for either the gentle nudges or the good swift kick, dependent upon how you perceived my posts.

PS. wherever/whatever the fur babies stay! 😏

🕊TomTitTot,

Anne

You know we are here for you TomTitTot . Whatever it is you decide to do. Please keep posting and know you are not alone. Not all change although difficult, is not always bad.

Thinking of you,

Cas xx ☕🍰

It’s really hard sometimes to accept the need for serious change in our lives. Even harder sometimes to start the process of change. Take care, hope you start to feel a little better soon.

Big changes when we get older TomTitTot are always difficult, hopefully you have someone close that can help you through these changes and as Caspiana says not all changes are bad x

Sorry I missed your original post. I love animals so much but am also RAST allergy testing level 6 to cats and dogs. My consultant also asked me if I truly wanted to die early by keeping them. He didn’t get for me life without pets is no life. Are there any charity organisations local to you that could help? Many years back We joined borrow my doggy.com here in UK and walked a dog for a lady who wasn’t well. Perhaps they’d settle better then? What about mud suits, neoprene suits you put them in for muddy walks then could strip it off and wash before indoors? I know this doesn’t help with day to day but I really feel for you and hope you find a resolution x
