None of your mentioned meds will work. There are treatments in the pipeline, currently being developed that are hoped will work.
I guess that if a person has a temperature then something to reduce the temperature might help. What a person take needs to be checked out in case it affects their condition or interacts with other medication. Sounds like it would be a call to NHS111
Isolate yourself and treat as you would with any illness to try and help relieve symptoms. telephone conversation with your doctor if you suspect you have it or phone the 111 service for further advice, check out NHS website etc.

Precisely, I've been wondering that. What do they do in hospital that we couldn't do at home? My situation is a bit different to most. At 88 I have a list of ailments that could see me off at any time, adding another name to the list will be no big deal. Living alone, apart from my dog means I'm probably least likely to get it. And that's another point, if I did get it could I infect my dog? It came from animals could it go back? I think I'll just go and have a G & T or two, though it is a bit early I suppose. I could just add alcoholic poisoning to my list. 🙄
I did read or listen to something about exchange with Pets but can't remember where Don could be in one of the links I posted previous. healthunlocked.com/blf/post...
Google search may reveal a reliable source regarding this. Could have been one of Dr John's latest videos on you tube, he is addressing a lot of questions from people.

Check out his 1st question Dr John on his Q and A video.
Dr John....... did address this question, he said it is possible that an infected owner sneezed or coughed on their dog's muzzle that subsequently got detected in the only reported case. Not that I am saying that it could not happen, but personally do not think it likely that you could pass it on to Midge if you caught the virus yourself.
Just wanted to say thanks Don - your posts always make me smile
Enjoy the G&T Don, maybe the dog would enjoy some too My brothers dog was an alcoholic, he was a stray that adopted my brother for a place to live. The dog used to visit all the pubs where the bar tender would put a bowl of draft guinness or beer down for him He was a card, one of those dogs that would give you the eyeball, look at the biscuit barrel and repeat till you got up and gave him his desired treat ha ha.
I had a black lab many years ago who would pinch drinks of beer from glasses left on the ground next to chairs. She was a well trained gundog and you could tell when she had been 'at it' by the way she staggered a round when sent on a retrieve. You could see that she knew she had to do something but couldn't remember what it was.
ha ha that's hilarious, that did make me smile. Very Happy Dogs
Use more tonic with that G&T Don. Reduce alcoholic poisoning and may help against covid if you take enough quinine. There was a report on Chloroquinone but i am not a chemist and have forgotten what it said . I suspect i saw Ģ&T and homed in on that!
Sounds good. 🙂
Pets: - just spotted this Don - theguardian.com/world/2020/...
Never too early for a G+T as a friend of mine once said somewhere in the world the sun is past the yardarm so let’s join them and say cheers

One of my favourite saying. 🙂
How to fight it : I am trying to ensure I stay as healthy as possible, by taking my medications, eating nutritious food, taking my vitamins and cod liver oil and trying to exercise as much as possible....my theory being :
I need to be as fit and as healthy as possible to "fight it"
Anything which helps with the symptoms, which are supposedly flu-like, may help deal with it, but just like flu, won't cure it. But the things you suggest could make you feel more comfortable, and quality of life is an important contributor to recovery.
