My boss is quite a clever chap
But there's one thing that he lacks
A basic understanding
Of some simple doggie facts
We dogs all love our masters
And try to do what's right
Behave ourselves most of the time
Never get into a fight
We don't mess inside the house
But wait till we're outside
And when we feel not wanted
We just go away and hide.
But one thing that he's never grasped
Is just this one command
What is it about 'dog treats'
That he doesn't understand?

Wonderful as usual Don! I'm sure we all sympathise with Midge - that look is quite clearly saying 'treats now, please'

You need to train him better Midge. Our dog Bella has trained us all to deliver π treats on command.π

Listen Midge and listen well i'll only tell you this one time
When you are a little four legged friend it doesn't do to whine
Just wait until he is comfy preferably laying on his bed
Pounce, strike whilst the iron is hot and land upon his head
This may seem rather drastic and you have a hill to climb
But us cats are very good at this and it works every time
So come tomorrow morning when you have practised this a bit
Those treats will appear like magic whilst he shouts for you to sit.
Love from Scruff's x

Hereβs a tip for Midge and Scruffy Cat
When youβre a sheep and really quite fat
If your servant ignores your pitiful look or bleat
You can stamp with your 100kilos on their unsuspecting feet.
(Thatβll get their attention)
Baaaaa π

My cat sits on my head. Mainly, I ignore him and just sleep with him on my head.
Heβs quite heavy

How could you not love that little face, she so deserves a treat, come on Midge give him a push x

Aww, poor deprived Midge. All petsknow there are NEVER enough treats. We have a rescue dog, he's on a week's foster to adopt. He arrived on Saturday. Think there is quite a history with him so taking it very slowly and rewarding with treats. His favourite is fresh chicken!

Yes my husband heβs a softer touch than me plus he gives 2 treats to my 1 but I have Maxβs waistline to think about with age he canβt take too many treats same as us all unfortunately

I try to limit what she gets so that her weight stays fine.
But I have to be so careful, else she'll start to limit mine!
