Has anybody ever gone into a pharmacy in a large store that also has an enormous cosmetic counter to collect an inhaler, then immediately needed to use said inhaler even through you felt OK when you went in to get it?

Pharmacies in large dep't stores
Large dept stores also have a lot of smelly perfumes and such, very often located at an entrance. Perhaps go to a small independent pharmacy instead. Once bitten, twice shy.
My local Boots as you walk through has an heavy air of perfume and when you sit and wait it wafts your way Boots should really know better. My hubby normally goes in for me because all the scents affect my breathing.. one time I wouldn't have bothered I would have been there trying the perfumes.but now no.
For marketing purposes, cosmetic counters are located nearest the inside entrance to the mall. After noticing clerks spray colognes and perfumes into the air to lure customers to their product, I learned to park near an outside door to enter to avoid this allergy trigger. You may be sensitive to perfume and cologne. Just a thought. J
I have the same problem if I walk (oops, don't walk ride my scooter) down the laundry products aisle in a supermarket. Through trial and error I know which products I can use and which affect me. Keep smiling

As for the perfume counters in airports - I hold my breath and pass through them as quickly as possible ( one of the benefits of leading singing groups is that I have that breath control now!).
