Interesting to see research going on that is about repairing lungs with emphysema rather than just keeping symptoms at bay. Sounds like it is very early days though

The loss of elasticity with Emphysema is how we get hyper-inflated lungs, (long lungs or barrel chested). It would be interesting if it could reverse that, breathing would then be so much easier. A good find :)

Thank you Livefor for this link and as 2greys points out, the reversal of our lungs loosing their elasticity, would be the answer to our dreams I'm sure! Excellent read and appreciate your sharing. Have a good day🐿💞

That is very interesting though it does not state the % improvement after the procedure. Suspect it is early days as to its long term impact but hope to see it cross the pond from the USA

Do you have a lung condition?Have you changed to a lower-carbon inhaler and found it works well for you?

As part of a piece of funded work Asthma + Lung UK are doing with NHSE on lower-carbon...
