I'm always a day behind!

My posts from this site don't reach my inbox until the morning after they're written. People have commented on it being Sunday when they've written them and I've only just got them on Monday morning. Consequently, there are frequently numerous replies - often saying what I would like to say, but it seems silly repeating what others have said a day later. So I 'like' a lot of posts, but none of you will know that as 'likes' are not credited to a specific person. I have noticed that if I write a post myself and people reply, it all happens in 'real time'. Can the administrators shed any light on this please?

Hi Moy. You can see who likes your posts under notifications that bell up at the top of your page. Unless your notifications are disabled. Then you will just have to turn them on again in your settings. xx 👋

Hi Moy maybe it's because unlike most of us you don't lock your posts to this community only?

I am not sure if the admins routinely read all the posts so you need to contact them direct. Go into members at the top of your screen and click on admins and send Annieneil a pm x

I just liked your post. I have no technical knowledge or understanding at all so I can’t help you, but I too can see who liked my posts. The daily digest email thing comes the next morning but I get immediate notifications of any replies to me,or of new posts by people I follow. One time I stopped getting notifications which I couldn’t understand, eventually I thought of checking my settings and the option of getting notifications of replies etc had somehow been unselected. I hope you can get it all sorted out 🤞

Hi Moy

When you open your posts, you should click on Posts at the top next to Home and it will show the latest posts that have been added.

That may also help keep you up to date.

Annienel's explained to me that the digest will always be a day late and we need to log into the BLF site to get the up to date posts. Now I know that, I understand. xx Moy
