Good on you Midge protecting You Master Don. My Princess does the same, Not with Children though, as she thinks she's just a Little Girl to play with. XXX
I am of course referring to you and it is i who must do the bowing and stooping, only both my back and knees are not in the best shape at the moment so perhaps having already received your knighthood a mere nod will suffice.
No I don't think so, but that person was only in my mind. Come to think of it, I might even be guilty of of eyeing up some things myself in the past. π
I'm afraid I'm going to leave a bit of a mess behind. I have offered to leave instructions to have a house clearance firm to deal with it, I can do no more. I'd take it with me if I could. π€£
Well I got my just punishment for something of the like this morning. My next door neighbour died last week, which was very sad but expected. His niece gave me the shed key yesterday and said there is an electric wheelchair in there if I wanted it, which I thought my sister would. After putting the bin back in his garden I decided to have a look at this only to slip and fall and hurt my shoulder yet again. The wheelchair is too big and heavy and hasnt been cleaned in years, so maybe something was telling me not to be like a vulpture when a dear neighbour has just died x
Oh dear Izb1 - I am sorry to hear that, hope you recover from that accident soon - I am sure vulture does not apply to you as you were thinking of something to benefit your sister - I am consider good samaritan would surely be more apt!
My family donβt want any of our old tat. Weβve just cleared my old mumβs house, as sheβs gone into a home. My dad spent years making things, furniture, toys, models etc, but the children have small homes and big families, so donβt want anything either. Such a shame to see it all go...
My husband's aunt used to insist that we took something away with us when we visited! It was embarrassing as she would often say, 'Oh, so and so gave us that. We've never liked it!' The offending article would be thrust into our hands and we'd be stuck with it. We always dreaded that relatives would call on us and see the things in our house. We couldn't get rid of them as said aunt would look for them when she visited us!! xx Moy
