Every one seems to love cats. How about this then. Bought a bungalow & inherited 20 wild cats, (cost a fortune to have they all done). and I mean feral wild. Found homes for 8 or so and have a dozen we are keeping, having grown to fond of them to let them go. They all have names. My favourite is still only a bit bigger than a kitten at 3 years old. Comes through bedroom window at 10:00 pm, sleeps on my bed and leaves when it gets light. Hence no picture, because of the flash. Any visitors and they disappear till they have gone. Sounds silly, but I can assure yoy domestic cats bear no relation feral ones. You should try one, even the claws are bigger!

Cats Galore
I didn’t think you could re home feral cats so I’ve just learnt something. Hope everything works out well for cats and owners alike. Xxxx
Feral cats are descendants of untreated domestic cats and can be culled by gamekeepers under the law but you are a very sensible and caring chap and have had them treated and they obviously give you great pleasure,Please be aware that farmers and other folk may see them as pests and not be so protective.
Wild cats are quite rare as such and probably fall under the protection of conservation laws and i imagine it would be illegal to keep them without some sort of licence.
Anyway continue to look after them and enjoy their company as i am sure they give you much pleasure.
Ski's and a wild but very domestic pussy cat
Oh my goodness that is my idea of heaven, your doing an amazing job, well done.
Three of my cats came from a feral father and domestic mum, even being half feral they are different. No one else wanted them due to the feral bit, I’ve had no probs. With time and patience the ferals will come round to s certain extent.
Carry on the good work

You are a kind soul taking such care of them
What an amazing soul you are! My Partner and i had 9 cats at one stage. 2 of which were feral and we took them in. A LOT of work! But quite rewarding.. Well that was until they ALL got old at the same time.. and we lost one after the other (to old age.. the eldest got to 20yo).. Broke my heart in pieces.. Loved them all. All had different personalities, and characters. Back to one (10yo) Henry. Whom is very spoilt. All the very best to you and your furkids! xx
How wonderful to give a loving home to all those cats 🐈 I’m sure they bring you happiness and love in return. 😊
You certainly have your hands full, but the hours of enjoyment and looking at their personalities is a small price to pay, I recently had to have my tuxedo cat put to sleep, and it was devastated, he was a gentle giant, he would have a 'mad' half hour just running around, and in the snow he was a nutter, he'd sit and stare at me on my knees while watching telly, he was placid and I miss him, I've still got 4 cats but I miss him, he turned up as a stray and decided to make us his family, the happiness he brought was second to non, enjoy the time you have with your furry family and I'm sure you'll have many years of pleasure, thanks.
So sorry for your loss.. It's so hard when they cross that rainbow bridge. There is nothing quite like the unconditional love from a fur kid! xxI hope you are ok!
It was just all so sudden with his condition, and never expected to come back with an empty cat carrier, I'm still unsure if I did the right thing, the vet told me that he had fluids on his chest, and he got one lot of injections on the Friday and he was still panting on the Monday, and the vet said if he's still like that to take him back, we did, and that's when the vet said it's in his best interests to put him down, I keep thinking what if it was just a simple lung infection or something similar, I live with the guilt and it is not a good feeling, we trust professionals, but I'm a sensitive person and boy does it hurt, I'm no longer getting any more pets as I've still got 4 more cats, and knowing what I know now, I can't stand the heartache, some folk may think I'm a little daft or soft but I'll never forget the happyness he gave me, thanks for your kind reply, someone said to me that your pets are only loaned to us, so I take comfort from this, thanks again.
Awwww I am soooo sorry.. i have been through similar. And it is totally normal to question yourself. I have read that pets can take on the same illnesses as we have ourselves..? One of my furkids whom i was very close to, had renal failure.. he was a mess when we took him to the vets, and they told us his organs were shutting down.. but he perked up, just before they gave him the injection.. then he was one in like 1000 whom kept breathing, even thought his heart had stopped.. IT BROKE ME!!! I questioned if it was because he wanted to live.. keep going.. ??? So i totally understand how hard it is. Very good saying that they are only loaned to us.. And it is good to remember all the unconditional love they gave us, and they happy memories we shared! xxx All the best to you! xx
Yep I understand your feelings and emotions, sorry if I came across about just my thoughts, I'm still feeling a little raw, and some folk will think it's an unimportant subject, but whatever brightens someone's day is surely a good thing, thanks for your reply and all the best for the future 🔮
All the very best to you too! Thank you! xx
I am in Ireland and now have 8 cats would have been 15 but the others were in a very bad state and had to be put down they were all feral and very scary to get near but with time and trust I can now touch all of them and 6 have leaned to use the cat flap I have managed to rehome one that became very friendly but then another turns up I am in Donegal and the animal rescue is full with cats and kittens all because people will not neuter there pets. Your a very kind person a lot of people just do not want to know but you are like me we can not stand to see a hungry animal good luck hope no more turn up once word gets out in cat world
Hi, I too took in a homeless cat that was living in a school grounds. It took me months to gain her trust. I sat with her outside the school twice a day for months, fed her. Eventually got her to my house. She would come in, eat then run back down to the school again. Then one day she never left. She's still a bit snappy, but a lot better than she was. We named her princess. 👍👸
