It is true, they keep you young, and tired!

Read a lot of posts about pet cats. We moved to our present home two years or so ago and inherited 15 or so feral, wild, cats. Thought you would like to see a picture of them. They certainly keep us busy.

They are lovely and it’s so great you’re looking after them. Our furry / fluffy / feathery / woolly friends keep us busy (and yes, tired!) but the love they give makes it all worthwhile 😻

They're very handsome with their black and white markings!

Looks like they are very well fed. They have more meat on them than I have. lol

they look very healthy. apart from the tiredness of looking after them there is a disease from cats that causes excessive tiredness, I can't remember which one but here is a page about Diseases we can get from cats: health24.com/Medical/Diseas...

Best. Get them spayed and neuted. Or your end up with. Inbreed. Half wit. Mogs or deformed they should not be allowed to inbred always wash your hands as cat s can carry nasty bugs that can make you very ill. Very nice to look after. Them but. Was though choice or just stuck with them but the only you can decide I love all critters but if you let things carry on you will be swamped buy many many more. Have to be realistic and responsible BW

First thing we did was have them "seen" to. They took some catching then, but they are OK now. The baby of them all, "Nicki" disappeared for a fortnight Three weeks ago, then turned up three days ago with a broken leg and nearly starved to death. Vet fixed her up, but she has to stay in the biggest pet cage we could get for a month.Shes doing great, and eating like there is no tomorrow!

Hopefully you are not near a suburban or urban area and all those wild cats are not intruding in your neighbors yards. One of my neighbors feed wild cats and they are doing there business in our yard and gardens and it is disgusting. There should be a law that anyone feeding wild cats has to get them fixed to keep them from in check. Most of them suffer anyway.

I think you should think a little more before you lecture on cats given your limited knowledge of them. Do you really like animals? From your remarks I would guess you only tolerate them. Would you prefer that we had them all put down? Would you please please enlighten me on this "most of them suffer anyway".

Yes I like animals have had pet dogs for years. I like cats also...pet cats. I see a lot of wild cats suffer through the winter months around here. I think it is terrible that people get cats and don't take care of them and let them go out and multiply. They should be required to be fixed before they multiply and cause more suffering that you probably are not aware of or refuse to see. Part of caring for animals would be to fix them so they don't cause more litters that may or may not survive or suffer. It is funny there is not a problem with wild or feral dogs...because more responsible people own dogs!

You do not like cats.

Dogs wee everywhere every five minutes.

I have never seen cat litter on a beach, but dogs!

Dogs should be seen to just like you say cats should.

"Not a problem with wild or feral dogs". Where on earth are you coming from." because more responsible people own dogs!" You have to be joking. Does your neighbour know how you feel about her cats?

" They should be required to be fixed before they multiply and cause more suffering that you probably are not aware of or refuse to see. " Is that why I spent £1200 having them seen to? £25 a week on food. £156 this week having a broken leg plated. And they are not my cats!! I think I am aware. Music Hall comperes had a saying "She is inebriated with the exuberance of her own verbosity". Just in case you think we are cats only: we have had four Rhodesian Ridge Backs and two terriers over the last forty odd years. Had pet pigs, a donkey, red squirrel, grass snakes, a fox, a goat...... could go on and on. I hope I have convinced you that I am aware etc.

"The baby of them all, "Nicki" disappeared for a fortnight Three weeks ago, then turned up three days ago with a broken leg and nearly starved to death." Your words...not mine. sounds like someone isn't aware or on top of things and an example of suffering...sorry

Tell you what. I've had enough of you so no more replies. If I was your neighbour I would be selling up. Thank god we are in the country with only farms around us, no chance of you moving next door, thank goodness.
