I posted a while ago about my pip application/assesment. I had my letter through today, to say ive been awarded daily living allowance. Im shocked! I thought i might get mobility. Its bitter sweet. Rubbish im poorly enough to be eligible, but a huge help. The back dated pay feels like a bonus so im going to do something fun with my children 😊

Hi I am pleased that you have got PIP which is great. You only get the mobility one if you can't walk either 20 or 50 meters in 10 minutes, or not in a safe or timely manner ie you are in pain for a while afterwards. x

Congratulations to you Treed12 on finally getting that brown envelope to discover you've been granted the DLA. Good for you for jumping through hoops to even complete the questionnaire and more! 👍

What a lovely thought, you can now use some of your back dated allowance and treat your children!!! Happy days!! 💞
