Son had pip review form which was sent to them special delivery and they signed for it, problem is I checked the bank today and he hasn't been paid, form was sent earlier than deadline, payment is usually in the bank Saturday even though it's due Monday's, has been like this for last three years, but nothing in bank today and not heard anything from them, worried they have lost his form, has anyone else had payment on a different day or had a similar problem

If payment hasn’t arrived in bank by Monday and you are sure not miscalculated dates then I suggest you give them a ring. I find if I ring in the morning as soon as they open I tend to get through to someone relatively easily.

Hi there I just read on a news flash that some payments are delayed due to the extra payments that are being paid this month plus Christmas date changes for normal benefits . So hope it comes soon for your son.

Yes maybe postal strikes - there is a backlog in some areas. I always keep a copy of anything I send to the DWP just in case they lose it. Also the DWP seem to be behind with their paperwork. I would ring and see if you can speak to someone who should be able to check where his review is at. They will only speak to you though if you have power of attorney (where you can make money decisions on their behalf), otherwise he will have to phone.

Even with a review someone has to read through the paperwork and sign it off. From what I've heard they are way behind with many payments.

Martin Lewis had highlighted the delayed payment in recent articles looks like it’s affecting a number of people. Hope it’s sorted soon
