This is a quick thankyou to all the well wishers and fantastic caring people on this site for the response to my last post. Since then i have gone from strength to strength with the help of the brilliant staff here at wythenshaw hospital. If everything gos to plan i will be going home on friday 20th, which means less than 3 weeks from tansplant to home. Just to give people an idea of the difference, when i came in i was lucky if my oxygen levels were 87 % after moving a few feet, now my levels are 97-98 after a walk around this big hospital or 10 minutes on the exercise bike. As yet its early days and i will be carrying on exercising every day at home and taking care of the fantastic gift ive been given. I really hope this reassured any one who is in the same situation as i was and has to make the decision, for me i feel it was the right one.
Once again thankyou all for you caring ways.

That is amazing news. You are one step ahead of me Sir. As I still await my magical call from Wythenshawe. I pray for it every night. Take care and cherish your new lease of life for it is a gift.

Thanks joe, im hoping you get some news really soon. I have been extreamly lucky, and the doctors have told me as much. My recovery speed has been quicker than most, but not pain free. However the benefits far outweigh the negatives. Best of luck and my fingers are crossed for you.
Fantastic news. I hope you continue to recover well and the pain eases very soon. My oxygen level is 87% stationary, plummets down when I move but with oxygen rises to about 92 max. Enjoy every breath you take. Iโm so envious lol.....๐ Have a great life.๐
