Netherlands trip

I have been in Holland for a short trip with a friend. I have a chronic lung disease (farmers lung). I had a chest infection which I felt was better but this developed into the flu virus. So instead of going to Amsterdam. I went to hospital with a cold sweats and high temperature. At the moment I am in the intensive care unit. It’s been an adventure the care has been first class even having a ct scan today just like that had loads of doctors and staff around every thing seems tranquil. I am amazed. How lovely everyone is. I was anxious to begin with as I am on my own Now I have to agree with insurance how to get home. I have friends at home praying and that helps

It’s so good that you are having such excellent care although I am sorry that you have had your trip spoiled. I hope that are well soon and get home safely.

Very good to hear that you are being well looked after,i imagine being hospitalised in a foreign country can be quite frightening but thankfully most Dutch people have a good command of the English language.best wishes for a tranquil and well organised return soon.
