If your chest sounds clear and you have no discoloured sputum when you cough then it is unlikely that you have a bacterial infection.
Bronchial conditions frequently have symptoms of regular coughing. The body NEEDS to get rid of excessive mucus. It doesn't need antibiotics unless your body cannot cope with an infection.
