Thank you for letting me to your group.
Hi Jellybe, i use compression tee shirts and sometimes an electric heat pad to keep my chest warm. I hope this helps
Hi jellybe
Welcome to the forum.
Sorry you are having so much pain. I was also diagnosed with copd and I use a hot water bottle for the pain in my lungs. I have had this pain every day since last year.
I have had it 2 years. After my ct scan for something else and they told me I have server copd and emphysema I was blown away.
Have you had any follow up appointments? Can you take any painkillers? I was only diagnosed last year and Iam still trying to accept it. I also have a collapsed lung as well and I thought that was why I had lung pain.
Hi Lisa, my right lung collapsed also and I was given steroids and antibiotics. Do you receive the same?
No i just received antibiotics. It has been collapsed for nearly a year. I have just been told I have bronchiectasis on that lung. They said they would inflate the lung but Iam still waiting to hear.

Are you in uk or America?
Hi Lisa, if I was you I would ask for the steriods too. I am in the UK. The course is 6 small tablets to be taken all at once for 5 days. It helped me.
So to hear you in pain. Hopefully not inflammation of the lining of your lung. Maybe hood to talk with your GP to check might get stronger pain killers you take care and yes keep warm. 🌷🌷🌷
Good morning Jellybe. And welcome to this friendly and helpful group. Regards your pain from your lung. I would suggest seeing a doctor and telling them you want the pain investigated to find out what is causing it. You have put up with it for too long already in my opinion. Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. Brian
Hi, Brian, they have put me carbocisteine 375mg. 3 tablets 3 times a day but I have started them yet. Have had this medication before?
