Smooth sailing

Just wanted to give you all an update on mums recovery. She’s doing great. I spoke to her this morning and she sounds a lot more like herself, the pain is less intense today and she’s able to walk around to use the toilet and she’s sitting in a chair etc. There is a little bit of an irregular heartbeat but it’s not a major worry and can be dealt with using medication. Other than that everything is perfect. Mum is doing breathing exercises and huffing every hour to keep the airways and lungs clear, painful but managing well.

At the moment we’re expecting her back home on Tuesday. ♥️

That's good news about your mum. It is a major procedure so it's not unusual she's still experiencing some pain. It's great to know she'll be home soon 😊
