Hi, I'm new here. Live in BC Canada. Have hypersensitivity pneumonitis - on prednisone - due to bird allergens but don't want to give up my birds.

Ecelectus, Indian ringneck and alexandrine parrot. Have oil based feather lubrication rather than the dusty dander that is kerotin based. You might need to change your feathered friends to more lung friendly breeds. As a bird lover myself I really empathise, I go to extaordinary lengths to be able to keep mine.
