Morning Thoughts.

Why don't I just do nothing

And lie here all the day?

I no longer have to work

For all those bills to pay.

My aches and pains don't bother me

Whilst I lie in here relaxed.

There's not the slightest risk at all

That I'll be over-taxed.

But there's my little dog here,

That needs to go and pee.

And then she'll want her breakfast

That she'll gobble up with glee.

The light shines in the window.

The weather looks quite clear

I wonder what the day will bring.

I'll never know stuck here.

So up I get and start my tasks

In my usual way.

Remembering that I must prepare

For my PR class today.

Great ditty. How are you getting on with PR classes

Don-Rhymer?

I am starting my class today. Had my assessment on Monday so looking forward to seeing how I can improve my health. Lol.😊

in reply to Whitechinchilla

I hope your class goes as well as mine has, I'm certainly feeling the benefits. I've had a few surprises as well. Most of the people there are younger than me but one chap I got talking to was born the same year as me 1931. On leaving somebody asked if I knew who I had been talking to, I didn't, but it seems it was Kenneth Cope. This still didn't mean anything to me but I couldn't resist having a Google when I got home. He is or was a famous actor, besides being a very nice chap. I wonder if anyone told him he had been chatting to a famous poet! 🙄

One of my sons favourite programmes used to be 'Randall and Hopkirk deceased', if I remember right Kenneth Cope played Hopkirk - the deceased member of the team. He wore a white suit - rather like Paul Sinha (spelling?) on The Chase. We used to watch it every week, Geoff still watches it whenever it's on.

How sweet is that.

Glad you are feeling the benefit of the course.

Have to say I was surprised at how much i enjoyed the class today.

That said I don’t know what my muscles will have to say to me when I wake up tomorrow.😂

Thanks for the story

😊

I’m now going to Google Kenneth Cole, though the name is very familiar.Mixing with the hoity toity eh?

You could always take Midge with you

Now that she's been fed

Or bin it all together

And both go back to bed

Have a good session Master Po

Ski's and an unfit Scruffy x

Kick the cat out like I do

She will climb trees and play

She might meet my Breeze too

Who likes to roam all day

In the garden and round the bushes

He even has a little friend

(I wonder if he has a crush?)

He drives me round the bend!

He looks remarkably well for his age, but of course has COPD. We complemented each other on how well we both looked.😎

Maybe getting a dog is the answer !

Too easy to not be motivated.

Great rhyme Don X

in reply to Kittykat2

Think carefully Kitty, they need a lot of looking after. The benefits of ownership come at a cost and you often get to wonder who owns who. 😉x
