Dose anyone else use more of their inhalers than prescribed

Inhalers
Well you need to understand why you are doing it in the first place: usually you have asthma or breathlessness and it isn’t controlled.
And/or you have a chest infection and you use more to breathe better.
So you need a medical checkup and a medicine review.
I was allowed to in the end but that means you need more and more prescriptions..
Take care xx
What type of inhaler?
More information needed. Type of inhaler, type of lung disease, your current state of health (cough, sputum colour etc) and whether you have sought medical advice.
HELLO! I suppose it depends on which inhaler you're using a lot. If it's the rescue one then perhaps your preventer needs to change either to a stronger one or a different one. My preventer Seretide was changed a couple of years ago to Sirdupla which was no good for me. A really good respiratory nurse changed it to Fostair. It's been absolutely marvellous in several ways, rarely need the rescue Ventolin, having hardly any skin tears, less bruising and no longer get the huge blood blisters in my throat. The beauty of Fostair is that you can use more or less as your needs require.
I'm guessing you're taking more inhaler for your coughing?
Best make an appointment copdber and good luck my dear. P xx
Thank you for taking the time to reply to me
I have copd and cough verient asthma
I’m on Becazone for preventer and Brimica
I take both in the morning I take both again late afternoon and I take the becazone before bed. I find I cough less doing this I should only that the morning and night. I have a rescue inhaler that I don’t find at all helpful.
