Hi yes it does. You would be better off putting your post on the Quit Support site rather than here though. x

Yes it gets easier so please don't give in to your cravings. You have done brilliant so far so please keep up the good work. Find something to do to occupy your mind and your hands, you can do this. We are all here to help and support you. Have a great day and please don't worry you will get there. 😉 Bernadette xx

it is the nicotine addiction that wants a ciggie. You, yourself needs to not have one for your own health. Yes the urge does get less and less. Put the money you would have spent in a jar and watch it mount up, enough to pay for a nice holiday perhaps.

I have started that me my son and partner are going back to Rhodes again this year so money will come in handy. I just need to stop feeling sorry for myself and get dressed and go and start on the garden even if it is cold outside hopefully take my mind of it. thanks.

Wow well done 14 days! Will have to have a serious chat with yourself today, pat yourself on the back and then focus on something else.

👍👍

I was a 40 a dayer and stopped dead, 28 years ago, had a sleeve of cigs in the house and kept telling myself, in an hour you can have one if you really must, not at all sure patches are the best way to go as they still give you a dose whether you want it or not, will power, in my humble opinion, is the only way to go. Keep busy, don't let your hands stay idle, you have gotten over the worst but yes the cravings do last a fair bit but they are cravings for what? nicotine must have been eradicated from your system by now. I have emphysema plus other lung diseases, the former being all my own fault.

Five years ago I was diagnosed COPD and gave up smoking right away. Since then I have only wanted a cigarette on rwo occasions. I smoked for more than half my lifetime and I could not believe it was so easy to stop. It may take you a bit longer but you will succeed in the end. You may find it helps to convince yourself that you have you have just put one out and it;s too soon for another one. You are in control now so don't give in.Well done for getting this far, all best wishes Polly X
