I recently had a mild bleed ( often had worse ) but am finding it very slow to get my strength back . Infection is gone & my chest is clear but the least exercise & I feel weak . Little bits of fresh bleeding still . My query is do people find it slow to get strength back after a bleed . I feel very little would set me bleeding again as if a blood vessel down there is very weak
Thanks in advance to all on forum

Thanks annieb , I really felt well yesterday & went out for a while & felt weak which I knew immediately was another little bleed , a while later blood again n sputum
How long does it take u usually for everything to settle down
Hi JK It depends how big the initial bleed is, I had a very stressful time with changing jobs and had one that lasted for about 6 weeks, since then I have had small ones that last about 3 days. I find stress can be a major trigger.
Think you annieb .. I’m impressed you can continue working , if I don’t take to the bed & complete rest it starts again .. mind u it used to settle n 24 hours & I went back to work . I’m retired now & older so probably not helping things either . I really can do very little except rest & keep resting for a few days after bleeding finishes or it starts again . Thanks so much for reply
Sometimes but I hit the last infection fast ( 2 rounds of antibiotics) relapsed very quickly after first
This time thought I was fine again . I know the infection is gone but if I’m on my feet any length I begin to feel weak & then blood in sputum . Does transamic acid dry it up ( presume it has to be for a bigger bleed than just fresh blobs n sputum )
