It has come to my notice they have started to put a lot off us on TRIMBO now just like they did with Fostair ,I have been on it a few months and cant say it has really had any impact my nurse at the hospital told me it is to save money what do you think of this inhaler x

I not use trimbo but I do use Fostair. I think if they tried to change my fast air I'd cause a riot as its been so brilliant for me in several ways - main one being I hardly ever need ventolin. P x

My respiratory nurse changed my Fostair and Braltus to Trimbowtwo weeks ago. Week later I'm in trouble. Still had unused Fostair and Braltus. Changed back and a day later I'm good. I think in future I'm going to go by that old adage "if it's not broke, don't mend it" stood me well over the years. Trimbow does have one advantage, its an all in one and so easy with the AeroChamber Plus device. You all out there, take care now.

Me too 18days ago, I hadn’t got much of a life , now it’s no life. I too am going to use my left over Symbicort and spiriva respimat tomorrow. I have used an aerochamber for my ventolin for years. They are very good. All the best oldmurphyman.

I've been on Trimbow for the past 1 1/2 months changed from Symbicort and Spiriva18 and it seems to suit me better (hope it lasts) also now completed 1 month of pulmonary rehab so maybe both together are helping me feel better than I have done in a long while. Also taking rivaroxaban for my recent PE. My year up to this point has not been great

Pete doesn’t use any of the mentioned inhalers so I can’t comment. If they are the powder based ones, Pete can’t tolerate them. Xxxxx

I've been using Trimbow for about 2 months now and can't believe the difference it has made, wouldn't change it for the world at the moment. Rose

My husband was given Trimbow at the hospital instead of Symbicourt and Spiriva. He says he hasn't noticed any major difference but that as he just has the one inhaler it's easier to take his medication.

My point its no better but its def cheaper why dont they just be honest ?Instead off spurting like its a miracle drug for uncontrolled COPD that's what I was told x

There have been some posts on here previously from people who've changed to Trimbow with very positive results.

I was changed to Trimbow from Seretide & Braltus but within days I was experiencing shortness of breath. The micrograms on Trimbow 87/5/9 were low compared to my Seretide 250/25 but the 9mg was the same as Braltus 9 mg but taken twice a day. I was told by the pharmacist and doctor that the micrograms were not always indicative as other factors, such as potency, came into play. My point was why show micrograms on medication if they are not an indication, surely that is the purpose. Anyway doctor decided I had a chest infection & prescribed the usual Amoxicillin although I didn't have a temperature! After 3 weeks 3 days I managed to get meds changed back and within days I had improved significantly. I know some on here have done well with Trimbow, which is great to hear, but this was my experience.

I went to a Asthma nurse at the hospital has I have asthma and copd ACOS I done a test on a inflammation machine and mine is quite high she doesn't think TRIMBO is really for the Asthma side and is looking to find a more suitable inhaler x

My oxygen nurse changed me over from symbicort and spiriva respimat to Trimbow 2 puffs twice a day by aerochamber, must be exactly 12 hours between puffs, after 6hours I’m literally on my hands and knees , maybe If the dose was 3 times a day ? Probably work. I still have my Symbicort and spiriva , doses still, I have decided tomorrow I’m putting myself back on them. I have been using the Trimbow for 18 days , I have stage 4 Emphysema. And a retainer. Therefore I really need to move , as it’s only around the home I feel it’s my time, being as I’m not now able to manage that. I googled costs, and worked out it would save £45????? I hope I’m wrong. I’m so glad you asked the question shadow4me. I’m glad One or two are happy with it , One saying it’s good using only one inhaler, I’d use a dozen if it gave any quality of life.
