Hello Dion
You seem to be having a thoroughly miserable time. Have you been given a diagnosis for your lung condition? I see you have Lupus. And has this resulted in bronchiectasis? Or another airways disease? It must be a nightmare trying to make sense of conflicting advice.
All the best and jeep us informed.

Hi I have another lung disease but the drs keep calling it different things so it confuses me and the mctd they say it's not lupus is so confusing x
I was curious because I know that autoimmune disease, (such as Lupus, RA) and connective tissue diseases can cause the condition that I have: Obliterative Bronchiolitis, which is also known as Bronchiolitis Obliterans, and Constrictive Bronchiolitis. I don’t get infections, wheezing, congestion, mucus production, or coughing. Which made me wonder if you had bronchiectasis. I know it’s hard but the doctors should take time to explain things.

You say you're on antibiotics, but not whether you've actually been tested for a bacterial infection. I was on antibiotics last year for months (for a different bacterial infection) and was constantly getting VIRAL infections as a result. Antibiotics tend to alter the balance of pathogens in the body, so you're more likely to suffer from viral and fungal infections. If it can be determined that you don't actually have a bacterial infection, you could get off the antibiotics and might find the infections clear up because they're viral in nature. Worth having a word with your GP about that.
Not really sure of name as it a IV x
