Went for a Pulmonary Rehab assessment yesterday. All went well. Will be starting next month, early November.
This will be my second time, after I did PR last year, and mostly my levels now are not much below what I finished with last time round.
What did surprise me though, was my FEV 1. The physio said it was at 1.89. Which she mentioned was rather low, and the FVC ratio was at 66% (I think) which puts me at Moderate COPD. And I thought I was bottom end of the scale, with mild.
So yeah, bit of a surprise to be told that yesterday. But at least I know where I am at now.
Post edited thanks to RedSox’s clarification of my confusion.

Sorry to hear that Symes but if you feel you’re doing ok then try not to worry. Pete has no idea what stage he’s at with COPD and he’s happy about that. We deal with each day as it comes. You take care. Xxx
I was thinking the same as RedSox! If your oxygen levels are 66% this is very dangerous as below the mid 80's can cause damage to your other organs. Maybe the 66% is your FEV1? This would fit because this would put you in the moderate stage. x
And what do you mean 66%/1.89 is not Moderate? My physio said it was, and everything I can find online says 66% is Moderate, like this site here healthline.com/health/fev1-...
I’m sure that should things become worse RedSox we’ll get the best treatment but it remains the same for now. Not sure how much sarcoidosis influences things. Petes doing well thank you and hope you are too. Take care xxxx
