Spirometry test

Hi everyone!

Just hoping someone can shed some light on what I can expect today for my spirometry appointment. Is it likely I will be given a report as such today or will I have to wait?

Thanks

If it's your first time the test will show whether or not you have an obstructive lung disease. I already suspected I had COPD and after the test the respiratory nurse gave me a diagnoses which confirmed I had issues and I was prescribed two inhalers, one to take daily and one as a rescue inhaler. I always ask for a copy of the print out to add to my evidence for when I attend DWP medical assessments. Since being diagnosed with emphysema and having experienced chest infections I have had chest x-rays and CT scans which further confirm the diagnosis.
