So the wife is upset that I have been communicating on this forum. So you all know I have not been diagnosed with a lung disorder. As with my many post, I have received a clean bill of health from many professionals. I, however, don't feel like my old self and are experiencing symptoms of concerns. I suppose she sees this as another website that will continue to give me anxiety. I want to thank all of you for your feedback and support as it has been nothing but positive and enriching. I wish you all the best of luck and you all deserve to have a happy life. Thanks again.

Skis,
That is 100% true. My mind has been so wrapped around my own health, I have not been able to fully focus on them. I am working with my counselor on how to get that back again. If you have suggestions that would be great. Thank you for that advice.
The best of luck to you Hidden . Take good care. xx 🙋
Wishing you and your family all the very best for the future. Stay strong. Xxxxx
You deserve a happy life with your wife and family. It's been a pleasure having you on the forum. You take care and remember we are always here for you. Take care and good luck in the future. All the best😊 Bernadette xx
Good luck and take care, Maximonkey
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) can help with changing ones mindset. If you can't get a course on the NHS or can't afford it there are books available (cheaper on Kindle app).
Something else you can try is meditation (find something you like on YouTube, I like straightforward stuff not the airy fairy ones). I really rate Paul Mcenna, he taught me NLP some years ago, it's a form of positivity including using positive language to influence yourself and others. I'm sure he'll have a cd or two on anxiety.
I do wish you all the best with your family for now and the future. Peege
Don't switch off for a bit, I'm going to try to find something I've stored somewhere which I'll post in a few minutes. If it doesn't appear then I couldn't find it. P
Hi I agree that this site really isn't the one for you, but joining one of the anxiety ones on here can only help you instead of hindering. x
thank you everyone. I still woke up racing heart 2 times last night, but rather than shaking in bed I got up and went for a run. It's time to get my life back regardless of what's going on. Thank you all
anyone have any experience with ILD? What the symptoms are for that?
Rigcu1... please don't feel down , you are clearly worrying about your symptoms, I will message you about the problems bad breathing can lead to if caused by anxiety! If you get breathless you will of cause think it's something more serious, I know this because I've done it for years!
First and foremost you need a diagnosis, if all that comes back clear then you can focus on your anxiety, the two are certainly linked! I have suffered most of my life with breathing problems and sometimes it's difficult to tell whether it's physiological or psychological until you know for sure and even then one can kick the other into touch , don't get downhearted! One thing as a quick fix for now , lie down and do some breathing from the diaphragm for 10 minutes ( Google) and it will help centre your breathing back into your control! Good luck !
