My transplant on August 10th and initial recovery went really well but I am just coming to the end of my third admission to hospital and this one was dreadful. So many complications including Kidney issues!!!!
But I am now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel 😊❤️
Tablets and infections are more settled 😊
So home on Monday, hopefully and stay at home this time hoping to get stronger each day xx
Love to you all xxxx ❤️

Dear Zebra what a horrible time you have had. But so glad that things are going in the right direction. Just take it slowly and accept all the help that is offered.
It would appear from others tales that post transplant is very much a rocky road to travel and i do hope that yours smooths out as the months progress into years.wishing you a steadier road ahead.Best wishes Ski's and Scruff's
So sorry that things have been so difficult for you with so many post transplant problems. I hope that you make it home on Monday and that things continue to improve. Best wishes xx
Life is difficult at the moment for most of us but you seem to be having more than your share Lynne. Hopefully those days are behind you and you can look forward to a happier and healthier new year.Xxx
So sorry you have had such a difficult time Lynne, I am wishing you a restful time at home with a good recovery. Best wishes BK
Goodness Lynn what an awful time you've been having post transplant. I'm keeping everything crossed for you..... I'm pleased that you can now see that light at the end of the tunnel. If you put 'Caspiana' in the search bar you'll be able to read all her post transplant, recovery, hospital admissions and anti rejection drugs history. Dear Cas has helped us all understand the process and scaryness involved. Love to you along with healing vibes sent your way, im sure its baby steps for a while.
Bless you! That all sounds horrible, but how brave you are! Sorry you had kidney problems too. Hope they recover somewhat!! And home Monday!! 😊Love and prayers!
really hope things keep improving for you, i'm 18 months in since transplant and enjoying every day, life does get easier and the meds get fewer with each passing day. Best wishes for the future.
Hi Lynne, you really have been through the wars, bless you!Having transplant discussions now with the docs who have told me i could be an ideal candidate due to age, height and weight etc...
They are organising the necessary preliminary tests so i wait, with interest.
Isn’t the internet a wonderful information tool which has helped me immensely with research and reassurance when i watch some of the amazing real life stories from recovering patients.
One major concern is obviously future infections due to the immunosuppressants drugs we have to take forever.
This will obviously involve major lifestyle changes but i expect post Covid we will all have to make changes.
Anyway, you stay safe and i look forward to hearing of better and brighter news your end.
Glad to hear things are settling down and you'll be home soon, when I hope your recuperation goes well and you can look forward to your new lung/s working well x
