I am extremely sad to report that our administrator mrsmummy has sadly passed away.
She was an extremely dedicated and committed lady who worked, despite her ongoing illnesses, behind the scenes often logged into the forum during the day and often well into the early hours.
We shall miss her invaluable contributions, her good sense of humour and her total commitment to the forum. Such sad news.

So sorry to hear that mrsmummy has passed away my thoughts are with her family and friends. She was a calm small pool of water in an often turbulent sea and many a time has successfully calmed us all down when our emotions got the best of us. R.I.P.
Sincere condolences, would it not be more appropriate if we where allowed to say goodbye to the mrs mummy under her original username rather than the nom de plume associated with being a moderater.
So very sorry to here the sad news, I did not realise she was so ill. Thank you for letting us know Ben and please pass on my sincere condolences to her family. She will be sorely missed. Xxx Peg

She was so very dedicated to this forum and I know she spent many hours as a volunteer here to keep it going in a smooth and orderly manner. Her level of professionalism went beyond the title of "volunteer" and I think we are all grateful to her for this.
Thank you Mrsmummy. 🌹
So sorry to hear this sad news ... I would say pivotal part of blf forum and I shall miss her.
Mrs M was an an example to us all. She worked so hard to keep this platform running smoothly despite how poorly she must have been feeling. Her comments were always kind and supportive. She will be greatly missed.
Sorry to hear the news Ben , she has been missed, condolence to her family.
This is really sad news. Despite never actually meeting her, it was obvious to me that ‘Mrs Mummy’ was a calm, dignified and kind lady. I asked her advice on a couple of occasions regarding the group and she couldn’t have been more helpful and polite. She will be fondly remembered, and sorely missed by all on the group. RIP Mrs Mummy x

Dear MrsM, another legend of the BLF forum, she has already been missed by so many for the last few months.
You're absolutely right in your description of her Ben and yes, it's very sad news. Unbearably sad news. I hope you're able to pass our sincere condolences to her family. Rest in peace MrsM. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
So sorry to hear this xx condolences to family and friends xx
Such sad news! mrsmummy's dedication to this forum was unparalleled. I don't think there is a post of mine that she didn't reply to and she had a great sense of humour. She'll be sorely, sorely missed but never forgotten!
Only just heard the sad news, there’s nothing to say only thoughts 😞
I joined recently to get advice about my mum who was suffering severe fatigue and breathlessness but being fobbed off by her GP. Mrsmummy responded to my post with advice to make a telephone appointment with the BLF nurse. I did this and this led to a referral and my mum is now being seen and treated by a specialist. As a result, my mum's quality of life has improved greatly.
So sad to hear of mrsmummy's passing. It makes me realise of course that despite being very ill herself, she still went out of her way to help a complete stranger. What an exceptionally kind, compassionate and selfless person she must have been.
Please pass on my immense gratitude and heartfelt condolences to her family at this very sad time.
Her encouragement probably persuaded many, me included, that our contributions were worthwhile and that is what builds online communities. I wish peace and fond memories to all she leaves behind.
This is very sad news indeed. I, too, didn’t realise how ill she has been, she was a real stalwart, always there for anyone who needed advice or a shoulder to cry on. She will be sadly missed, please send my best regards and sympathy to her family. X
Sorry to hear this although being a newer member didnt know her on here as well as others, but from what i read Mrs Mummy will be sorely missed-my condolences to her family. 💐
This is very sad news Ben, I am so sorry, my thoughts are with her family and all of us here feeling shocked to loose such a dedicated, helpful and lovely member.
mrsmummy was such a helpful and supportive member and administrator. It didn't matter which condition we had, she would treat us all as equals. RIP mrsmummy. We will miss you.
I was shocked when I read ur message about mrsmummy passing away. As I continued to read I was very close to tears as she sounds like she was a lovely and dedicated lady.
I am just sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to her or ask her for advice as I have asthma and I very often struggle with my asthma in the hot and cold months.
Such sad news. MrsMummy was so helpful, knowledgeable kind and caring. A wonderful administrator and a very brave lady who put other peoples’ Problems and worries before her own. Her wit and sense of humour were always appreciated. RIP Mrs M and condolences to family 🌷🌷🌷
To her loved ones- I am truly sorry for your loss. And all her friends. She gave me a hard time sorta like a school principal but lots of people like to shake their finger at me I don’t take life too serious. My policy is LOL as much as possible. Loss of human life. I am sorry.
Dear Ben our mrsmummy was everything you describe in your post and more. A wonderful kind and supportive lady who helped greatly to calm the waters and to make this site a much more harmonious and kind place to be. ‘She made a difference’.
Missed her of late and she will be a huge loss to us and sorely missed.
Hello Everyone Thank you all for all your kind words and condolences we cannot tell you how much it means to us all.
Mrs Mummy loved to come on here and keep you all in line (yes Ben you 2) she was so dedicated to the place and even missed family dinners to be on here when no other Admin was available.
I can tell by reading some of your comments (all be it through tears) that you all appreciated her input even if she put you on the naughty step (as mummies do)
She was such a lovely Woman who would go out of her way to help someone if she could even if she had never met that person.
She was so stubborn and always did thing her way and made everyone else do the same.
She was mummy to us all to the end, and we miss her dearly,
Again thank you all so much xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
