Having a rare chronic lung disease, such as LAM for example, doesn’t mean life has to stop. I like the recommendations from

Susie, admin at the LAM Foundation. I read them on FB this morning.

thelamfoundation.org

It is uplifting 😊 I needed that this morning with my coffee ☕️!!

Have a good day xx

in reply tochubby2x22

That’s lovely Jane 😊 I saw the other day on tv they had a fete in Ukraine with just twins, all children, it was so funny/happy!! Have a good laugh, take care x

Morning Fran, what a wise and amazing lady! And a timely reminder from my point of view. It's an attitude we could all learn from. Lots of love, and enjoy that coffee 😊💞

Morning Anne 🌸💕

How are you today?

I was woken up by a text from Bea at 6.30 after my 2 am and 4 am when I finally nebulised. It was about Aria being sick again, I think she’s got IBS we have done all the possible tests imaginable..Anyway she took her to the vet so I got the Nespresso treat and went on FB and read my LAM Sis forum. Felt better!

Now I am going to paint my toes red as I usually do 😃 and Im going for my colour this afternoon! Colour I say is the theme of the day! 💙💖❤️

Oh poor.Aria! That's stress related isn't it? I hope you find a way of calming her and making her feel better.

And yes a bit of colour will definitelybrighten your day😊. Maybe I'll do the same today..obviously not the hair though 😂

I can't quite feel better this week. I start to get there then I dip again...it's a tease grr. I've had monstrous migraines the last couple of days and nerve pain in my face which is sudden and very painful...so not great. But I'm eating better so that's good 😊

It's raining today so a cosy day at home with the girls and lots of teeny tiny toys they can lose all over the house ha ha. Its only me and my youngest awake at the moment so we're having that quiet cuddle time 😊.

Lots of love to you and enjoy your day 💞 x Anne x

in reply tobreatheeasy1

I don’t know if it it stress related..she had it when we were at home so it can’t be the move.. well Bea texted me she has had full blood work the worm, rabbies jab etc..oh she’s back. I’ll write more later..

Thinking of you as always 💖🌸

Hi Penny.yes my head has been a bit better today thanks 😊. I' trying to take it.easy (again 😩) Have a good babysitting day...don't let them run you ragged! 😂 xxx

Cat is on steroids!!

Well I was going to say what is it with all those migraines and nerve pains? Awful..can’t you get pain killers for that? Drink a lot a lot to wash all those toxic meds out of your system. Could be hormonal too..

Well when I go to the naturopath next week, I will ask her because she works mainly at the hospital in oncology.

Lots of love

Hi Fran, she'll be a bodybuilding insomniac cat then soon 😂. Seriously though I hope it helps.

I'm on all sorts of meds to try to deal with it...gabapentin mainly, but the triptans they gave me are now being reviewed as there's a danger of Serotonin Syndrome apparently. I don't know, they say the nerve damage and headaches are chemo side effects...and possibly stress. Who knows anymore! Any advice is very welcome thanks honey 😊. 💞❤

Ok will see what she says 💕

Thinking of you and the girls as always Anne. Those cuddle times are so precious. We are having our granddaughter (nearly 4) to stay on 7/9 so that will be special too. She’s a pickle.

Take care xxxx 😘💖💖💖💖

My cat Tinker gets IBS from wheat carbs and home cooked chicken. It's take us a while to find commercial cat food for him that he likes and doesn't set his tummy off, has plenty of flavours so that he doesn't get bored, and doesn't cost a fortune.

That's come at the right time Fran struggling at the moment with breathing , unsteady on me pins and almost permanent sleeping, been on loads of steroids,on 9th box of ten and 2nd CT scan coming on Sept 3rd..but your inspiring post and that inspiring lady had shown me this is just a wee setback..Ger

in reply to

Oh my dear Ger,

I bet you are looking forward to Sept 3rd to get some answers 😊

Glad Susie helped. She admitted me to the LAM forum run by the LAM Foundation, it is in the US but has an international base. She is a patient herself but so knowledgeable. There are 3 patient experts on this forum and they always put you in the right direction.

Take care x

i had a bet on Athletico last night to win but i lost my bet because they did it in extra time :( did you watch the match as it was very good?

Your cat’s still missing? 😢

in reply toHungryHufflepuff

Not missing no, Told Skis I missed the match last night. No, our cat has had tummy problems for ages and she wakes Bea up at night who is worn out. I try to help out early in the morning so Bea can sleep so it has been difficult!

So I fall asleep early. Anyway now we have found a good vet surgery, we hope she will improve.

Thank you for asking xx

That’s good. It’s crazy that cats are being made ill by their food but so much rubbish is put in that I suppose it’s not all that surprising. My cats won’t eat the cheap stuff but I guess the medium range food isn’t great either. Your poor cat, I hope she feels better soon. 🐱💕

Good morning, Fran 💜💕💜

What a happy photo, and uplifting words....we can always rely on you to keep us on track and as happy as possible. A super friend! 🦋🦄🦋

Just prepping for the little grandchildren....they’re here today (much more work providing a safe environment out of our current untidiness!)....but hoping for distraction and some fun....and some cuddles from baby Molly, the almost school boy Arthur not so keen these days, but usually smiles when I hug him on arrival and departure!! Ha! These grannies! Tho I’m known to them as Ma! Don’t ask!

Speak soon, my friend. Busy times here at mo. I’m going for a home hairdo any minute. I’ll tell you about my near celeb hair do sometime, that nearly happened last week, as I looked in the mirror at my steroid thinned wispy hair.....your photo says no problem there for you!! 💁🏻‍♀️ Well done, Fran 🧚🏻‍♀️🧜🏻‍♀️

Love, as always, Penny 💕🦋☀️😘 xx

in reply toYatzy

Good morning Penny!

Thank you 😊

Nice to have the grandchildren 💕

I have to look after my cat granddaughter lol she is not human but a handful 😂

My hair has thinned down a lot at the front! Not where I want it of course! Too much of it at the back 😅

💇🏼‍♀️💇🏼‍♀️💇🏼‍♀️

Lots of love 💕 💖🌷

Have a good day xx

Fran

Hi Fran, lovely to read, sorry to hear Aria isn't well hope you get it sorted soon, 😢 I like the Idea of painting your nails red. 😄 💅 Majt

in reply to

Haha Majt yes bright red!!! No Aria is not taking her meds. I will have to find a kind of device or trick but she is looking at me like who do you think I am!!

Xx

Fran

Hi Fran, that's great got to keep up with the fashion 😀 sorry Aria won't take her meds. 😧 ours usualy take of and try to disappear. 😨 Majt Xx

in reply to

Well we are managing some but she has 12 a day!!!!

Oh Fran that's alot, good luck poor Aria 😔 hope she's is better soon they are such a worry as they can't tell you how they feel. Majt Xx

in reply to

Thank you Majt 😊

Yes she keeps on taking me to the door, like can you take me back home 😢

She has steroids, imodium type tablets, probiotics, a pain killer, they are small pills but because she is a big cat lol she has to have 2 of each, 6 in the morning and 6 in the evening.

Bea will have to go and get some more tablets at the vet because we have wasted some 😃

Anyway she had a bacteria in March, had 3 lots of antibiotics then had no more infection but has had tummy problems ever since. We have changed her food we have tried everything!

This new vet surgery said we try the steroids to see if it is an inflammation, or if it is a food intolerance, now she is on no gluten, no lactose food!

Apparently pets are getting food intolerances as well nowadays because of the rubbish put in cat food!

So we’ll see! Fingers crossed 🤞

🌸🌷xx

Fran

in reply to

Poor Aria, it will be upsetting when she is going to the door, I hope she's a little better now. Take care Fran. Majt 😥💝🍃

Thanks Majt 🤗🌷

I have one I bought on line over a year ago, designed to be used by nurses, brand rossmax would not have been more than £20 and had no trouble with it. I check on family to see their levels are those which are expected for people whose lungs are in better condition.
