Does anyone have any contacts that might be interested in working with the BLF?

Afternoon all,

As many of you know I've been working in the corporate partnerships team the British Lung Foundation now for almost 9 months. On top of looking after all of the various corporate partners that have already generously made a donation to support the cause, I've also been tasked with finding new companies to work with.

The corporate world is still very new to me but what I do know is that the personal connections are really important at building relationships and I was wondering whether any one had any contacts that they might be happy to introduce me to?

I'm also open to any ideas any of you might have and I'm determined to find more partners to help ensure that the brilliant resources that we all find so useful such as this community and the Helpline continue to get the funding they deserve.

Aside from work, everything is going well at the moment. I finally got the all clear from the pneumothorax earlier this month which meant I was able to do lung function for the first time in 6 months. While my results haven't got any better, there hasn't been a significant decline which is great as it means that things are being kept at bay for the time being.

I'm trying to keep my side of the bargain, too, by staying as active as possible. The obligatory tongue out photo is of me at the gym last week. I'm in my PARI boy t-shirt of course as that helps to raise money for the charity at the same time :)

If any of you are interested in helping out on the contacts/company front then do drop me a private message in chat.

Glad your doing well and hope you continue to do so.

I can’t help on the contacts front I’m afraid but hopefully someone can.

Good luck to you. Xxxxx

Thanks sassy59! Doing everything I can to stay well though realistic enough to know that an exacerbation/infection is never too far away! Long may this current run of good health continue though. Hope you're well, too, and that you've got a wonderful weekend lined up.

Thanks Kate! Hope you're well and will keep doing what I can to raise more money for the BLF so that the charity can continue the brilliant services like this forum and the Helpline.

Good news about your health and a round of applause for going to the gym! Sorry that I too can't help with any contacts, but keep doing a grand job for BLF.

Thank you! It really helps that I actually enjoy the gym and like to push myself otherwise I'd be far less inclined to get involved. No worries about the contacts - I'll keep searching :)
