Hi all,

I use elbow crutches and have my 83 year old arthritic and memory impaired mum living with me. We're taking bets on who is the first to fall!

None of the doors close. The tubing jumps out and loops round me. The tubing is always obstructing somewhere.

Anyone managed to tame their tubing?

Hi

Ask your provider can they pipe the around your home.

Wearing your cannula, place the cannula over your head, turn so tubing is at your back, fit cannula and tighten toggle behind your head.

Welcome, ScouseTaffy. With a name like that you must surely be a Liverpudlian living in Wales? I'd like to put a fiver on the elbow crutches and tubing, please.

Sorry Don-Rhymer it's the other way round. Welsh family in Liverpool for 6 years and then returned to Welsh Wales.

However I could represent either countryour, some choice?

in reply toScouseTaffy

I commuted to Liverpool for most of my working life and now spend a lot of my leisure time touring North Wales, hence my interest.

Nope I haven't managed to tame mine even though I talk to it regularly ! I do try to be polite but I'm afraid my language leaves a lot to be desired when I'm communing with my oxygen cannula. I'm actually amazed I still have a nose the number of times I'm dragged back because it's caught on a knob somewhere. Tread very carefully ScouseTaffy ! Sheila xx

I talk to mine too. Not always politely. It hasn't answered me back yet, but a yank at the nostrils certainly pulls me up pretty quickly. Cheers, BevM

So is stone the one they mean when they say " I know a man who can"?always good to know that mano (or woman.

Does your mobile concentrator not trail the electric lead?

My umbilical cord is just shy of me being able to reach the window in the front and certainly stops me from sitting in the back garden in my arbor. If I didn't know better Id think they're out to get me.
