Hi all you lovely people. I have been sent home from hospital after 5weeks, and now on permanent oxygen. Ihear through the grapevine that with C.O.P.D I can expect a lot of pain with progression, have any of you experienced this??.

I’am very severe, had no COPD Emphysema related pain as such, aching diaphragm some times from extensive breathing.
Plenty of age related creaking joints but non really serious.
Sat here now relaxed watching the world go by, normal breathing pain free.
I have had emphysema for a number of years and apart from a little back ache I'm pain free, except when I have an infection. Lilian xxxxx
I have stage 4 emphysema (COPD) had it now for some 29 years and I have never experienced any pain and I am on oxygen 24/7 so I would ignore what ever you heard
