I’m a 30 year old female with an autoimmune disease, asthma & COPD. I stumbled on to the forum after being sick for the last 5 weeks (pneumonia, infections) & being given prednisone. It’s a drug I dislike & have put off taking due to the side effects. Google pulled up a few posts on the topic & I decided to join.
I’m an only child, & work in entertainment. Look forward to getting to know you.
Warm regards,
Jay

Welcome to the group DTLAgirl . None of us like the old prednisolone but it does have it's uses. I hope you're feeling better after your bout of pneumonia and remember to take things easy for a while. Sheila x
I’ve had asthma since childhood and was diagnosed with COPD and Bronchiectasis back in 2013 when I was 37.
I totally understand where you’re coming from as I’ve taken a lot of Prednisolone over the years for my chest infections, and it gave me diabetes. So I don’t blame you for avoiding it. If only I’d realised how bad the side effects could be I might have done the same. Too late now though.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this forum. Lots of friendly and experienced people here.
