Silent aspiration

Hello out there

I had cancer of base of tongue, successfully treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. 5 years on I'm being tested for silent aspiration, does anyone else have experience of this? Thanks.

Think it might be tado with pneumonia ONLY thing I know is when you hold food drinks in your mouth before you swallow.

I could be wrong but that’s only thing I know called out like that

Thanks for that. I know the radiotherapy has left me with not good control over my swallow. X

Braver than me .. I have had Throat issues and defo not nice .

Hope it’s just speed wobble on your road to recovery
