A very interesting article and I can see why you would ask about BPA. On the other hand the risk seems quite high, so it is a very difficult decision for both you and your doctors. I wish you all the best in this discussion. I do understand your position as I have the same situation re heart/ lung conditions. I have congenital heart disease and the CHD consultant won't do anything unless he absolutely has to, as my lungs are too bad, but I have an incipient aortic aneurysm which he will have to consider operating on if it gets worse. I am 74 and have already lived longer than expected.It's like being between a rock and a hard place, and not easy. I shall be interested to hear the result of your discussions. Good luck xx

I am seeing the consultant from the brompton next month, I shall see what she she says. I was there for a week a year ago for tests for other operation so she should have a good how my insides are
